IELTS Speaking Part - 3
The IELTS Speaking Test lasts for about 11-15 minutes; it is like an interview. The candidates are assessed on several speaking skills such as fluency, grammar, coherence, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. The Test has three parts, each assessing a different set of skills.
Part 3
The 3rd part of the Test is a two-way discussion. The discussion is on a topic related to part two; however, it is more general and abstract.
For example, if your topic was 'Education,' the examiner might ask you," what role does a teacher play in the classroom."
If your topic was 'Clothes,' you may be asked, " how has fashion changed in your country in recent years."
If your topic is 'Food,' you may be asked ' what do you think about diet? Do you think it is important?'.
This part tests skills such as the ability to express opinions and justify them when needed. The test-taker must answer the questions in depth.
