Different institutions provide the majority of Singapore Scholarships, however, some are provided by the government or private funds. While most of the country's scholarship options are for locals, there are a few for eligible international students.

Singapore International Graduate Award
SINGA, or Singapore International Graduate Award, is a fantastic Singapore grant for Indian postgraduates pursuing doctoral studies. SINGA encourages graduates with a passion for research and strong academic performance to apply for a Ph.D. scholarship to study in Singapore. The prize is granted as a result of a collaboration between four of Singapore's best research institutions:
- Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
- The National University of Singapore (NUS)
- Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
The selected scholars receive complete tuition cost support for four years of Ph.D. study, a generous monthly stipend of SGD 2000-2500, one-time airfare (SGD 1500), and settling-in allowance grants (SGD 1000)
Singapore International Pregraduate award
The Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award, or SIPGA, is another scholarship sponsored by A*Star, the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research. This Singapore Scholarship is available to top international students pursuing bachelor's or master's degrees, and it allows selected scholars to do short-term research at A*Star, Singapore.
Candidates must be in their third or fourth year of undergraduate studies or have finished their post-graduate studies to apply for research in Biomedical, Science, or Engineering related subjects. The research phase should last at least two months and six months. For the duration of their research engagement, selected scholars will earn a monthly stipend of SGD 1500.
SIA Youth Scholarship
This Singapore Scholarship is a fantastic opportunity for Indian students who have completed Class X. Meritorious Indian students who score at least 85 percent or Grade A in their Class X examinations, have English as their first language, and have an excellent academic record are eligible to study for two years at select Singapore Junior Colleges.
The Singapore Ministry of Education's scholarship leads to the student receiving a Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE 'A'-Level) or equivalent. The scholarship grant covers all school tuition, exam fees, medical and accident insurance coverage, and return airfare. A salary, dormitory accommodations, and a settling-in allowance are also provided to the scholar.
GIIS Singapore Global Citizen Scholarship
The GIIS Singapore Global Citizen Scholarship is another Singapore Scholarship for Indian students who have completed class X. The fellowship gives selected scholars financial assistance of up to SGD 90,000. The Global Indian International School, which arranges the scholarship, offers bright Indian students in class X the option to continue their education in Singapore.
INSEAD Syngenta Endowed Scholarship(s) for Emerging Country Leadership
INSEAD Business School has a campus in Singapore and is one of the most prestigious business schools globally, having the highest ROI for its MBA program in terms of earnings for its graduates. The school offers scholarships for its MBA program to nationals of emerging nations living and working in the developing world in collaboration with Syngenta, a world-leading agribusiness based in Switzerland.
Each year, two Singapore Scholarships are offered to candidates who have demonstrated great academic success and promise, business and financial management acumen, leadership potential, and a desire to contribute to their country or region. The scholarship has a maximum grant of SGD 22500.
Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship (National University of Singapore)
The National University of Singapore is one of Singapore's best universities, ranking among the top 15 universities in the world. Indian students are eligible to apply for a scholarship only available to overseas students from Asia.
The Science & Technology Undergraduate Scholarship is available to Indian students applying to the National University of Singapore for a full-time undergraduate degree in Computing, Engineering, or Science (excluding Pharmacy). The scholarship comes with a slew of perks, including full tuition for the duration of the course and airfare and lodging. Scholars also receive an SGD 6000 annual living stipend and an SGD 200 one-time settling-in fee.
Goh Keng Swee Scholarship
The Association of Banks in Singapore administers this Singapore scholarship, a private-sector scholarship (ABS). The program, named after Singapore's previous Deputy Prime Minister, awards 3 to 4 Singapore scholarships each year to excellent individuals from 15 Asia-Pacific nations, including India. International students can use the scholarships to study at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), or Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
The scholarship grant includes all tuition and other mandatory costs, return travel, a hostel allowance, a one-time settling-in stipend of SGD 200, and an annual maintenance allowance (SGD 6500). Except for specialized courses like medicine, most courses are covered by the award.
Amity Global Institute Merit Scholarship
Amity is a well-known consortium of private educational institutions in India, having international campuses in Dubai and Singapore. The Amity Global Institute in Singapore, which is part of the internationally renowned Amity Education Group, offers Industry-Oriented Management Programs created by premier academics and corporate executives.
Amity Global Institute offers a merit scholarship exclusively for Indian students in partnership with prestigious universities such as the University of London (Queen Mary), University of Stirling, and University of Northampton (Singapore). The scholarships are available for both undergraduate and graduate degrees and enable selected individuals to receive a tuition price waiver of up to 35 percent.
President’s Graduate fellowship (NUS)
The President's Graduate Fellowship, another award offered by the National University of Singapore, is open to Ph.D. applicants worldwide. The fellowship includes tuition expenses for the course, a one-time travel allowance of SGD 750, a one-time settling-in allowance of SGD 1000, and a monthly stipend of SGD 3000 for overseas students. The fellowship is initially offered for one year, with the possibility of renewal on a semester basis based on the applicant's good progress.
Singapore Millennium Foundation (SMF) Research Grant Program
The SMF Research Grant Programme, which was established in 2001, promotes study by awarding Singapore scholarships for postgraduate research at NUS, NTU, and other Singapore Research Institutes. Over 200 postgraduate research scholarships have been provided as part of the initiative to help clinician-scientists pursue their research goals. Indian Ph.D. holders interested in conducting research in Palliative Care, Learning & Pedagogy, and Food Supply Resiliency & Bio-Mimetics can apply for the program.
