Pie charts are circular charts divided into pie slices. The size of the pie slice determines the relative data it represents. Pie charts are very popular for presenting information in a visual form.
Pie Charts are part of Academic Writing Task 1. You have to respond to the chart by preparing a report worth 150 words. It is recommended that you spend about 20 minutes on the given task.

Before you begin to write the report, there are two steps that you should do.

The first paragraph of the report should be an introduction. You can write the introduction in two or three sentences. You can write the introductions simply by paraphrasing the question. Make sure you mention what the graph shows and the time period.
#Overview
In this paragraph, give a general overview of the key features. Briefly describe all the main features.
#Detailed paragraph one- Detailed information about the main features.
In the third and the fourth paragraph, you are supposed to give details. For identifying the main features, look at the pie charts; there will be pie slices that are more significant than the rest; there will be smaller pie slices; some would have changed over the period, while some remained constant.
Describe the main features in detail and compare them wherever relevant. It is crucial to support your answers by providing evidence from the chart.

In the fourth paragraph, provide details about the remaining key features. Do not forget to provide evidence from the chart to support your points.
