FRANCIS MARION UNIVERSITY

The Francis Marion University campus is located close to Florence, South Carolina, and it is a public institution of higher education. It was named after the American Revolutionary War general of the same name who served under Francis Marion. The Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of General Studies, Bachelor of Science, and Bachelor of Science in Nursing are the five different bachelor's degrees that can be earned by students at Francis Marion University. Master of Arts in Teaching, Master of Business Administration, Master of Education, Master of Science in Applied Psychology (clinical and school psychology tracks), and Specialist in School Psychology are some examples of graduate degrees that can be earned in the field of school psychology. Accreditation is granted to every master's degree programme by the relevant professional bodies in each field. The first doctoral degree programme offered by FMU, a Doctor of Nursing Practice, was granted approval in the year 2017. (DNP). In January of 2018, the first students to enrol in the DNP programme did so.
