EAST TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY

East Tennessee State University (ETSU) is located in Johnson City, Tennessee. Despite being part of the Tennessee State University and Community College System, the university has a Board of Trustees. The institution maintains off-campus locations in Kingsport, Elizabethton, and Sevierville. ETSU is a "R2: Doctoral University with High Research Activity." It has the James H. Quillen College of Medicine, a premier school for rural medicine and primary care education, the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy, the College of Nursing, the College of Public Health, and the College of Clinical and Rehabilitative Health Sciences.
