UNION UNIVERSITY

Jackson, Tennessee is home to the main campus of Union University, which is a private evangelical Christian institution with other locations in Germantown and Hendersonville. The university has ties to both the Tennessee Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention through its affiliation with both of those organisations. It is a consortium of a number of distinct educational institutions, namely: Hall-Moody Junior College of Martin, Tennessee, which was once known as Jackson Male Academy; Union University of Murfreesboro; Southwestern Baptist University; and West Tennessee College, which was formerly known as Jackson Male Academy
