Tennessee State University, or TSU, is a public school. The Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education says that it is a "high research" school. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges has given the institute permission to give associate, bachelor's, master's, education specialist, and doctoral degrees. Tennessee State University offers programmes leading to bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, and it has more than 400 full-time academic faculty. There are more than 100 student clubs, organisations, club sports teams, and intramural sports teams.

ACCOMODATION

On campus, the university has a lot to offer its students, like a cafeteria and coffee shops, a bookstore, study lounges, athletic areas in Kean Hall, a wellness centre, a climbing wall, offices for student groups, meeting rooms, and an auditorium. On campus, TSU has places to live that are single-sex, co-ed, and like apartments. The traditional halls are on the main campus and have everything you need to live there. Most of the time, students are given rooms with two beds. There are four apartment-style dorms: Mary Wilson Hall for women in their first year, Lena B. Watson Hall for men in their first year, Henry Allen Boyd Hall for men, and Merl R. Eppse Hall for women.
