In Cleveland, Ohio, there is a public research institution called Cleveland State University (CSU). It was founded in 1964 and began operations in 1965 after fully absorbing the private institution Fenn College, which had been in operation since 1923. In 1969, CSU took over the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. It now boasts over 120,000 graduates, belongs to the University System of Ohio, and provides more than 200 academic programmes.
