CHOWAN UNIVERSITY

Chowan University is a Baptist institution of higher learning that is private and located in Murfreesboro, North Carolina. Despite the fact that the university has a long-standing connection to the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina, it is open to students from any and all walks of life. It is the Baptist school that holds the position of being North Carolina's second-oldest. Accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, this educational institution gives students the opportunity to earn associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees in one of seventy different areas of study. Roughly one thousand students are currently enrolled at the university.
