ST. ANDREWS UNIVERSITY

Laurinburg, North Carolina is home to St. Andrews University, a Presbyterian liberal arts college that is independent and private. St. Andrews University was formerly known as St. Andrews Presbyterian College and was founded in 1958 after Flora MacDonald College in Red Springs and Presbyterian Junior College merged to form the university. The college changed its name to St. Andrews University in 2011 after it had been known as St. Andrews Presbyterian College from 1960 until 2011. In the same year, the institution amalgamated with Webber International University, which was located in Babson Park, Florida. Additionally, it is the location of the St. Andrews Press. The Master of Business Administration degree at St. Andrews University was the institution's first graduate-level offering when it was introduced in 2013.
