The apartments at UT Southwestern Medical Center are called Southwestern Medical Park Apartments. There are 282 units in the community, 120 with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and 162 with one bedroom and one bathroom. Since space is limited, priority is given to students in programmes that lead to a degree. Faculty, residents, and fellows are not allowed to live in student housing. The gated community has a public safety officer stationed at the entry control booth 24/7, an on-site leasing office, a fitness centre, a clubhouse with a study centre, a gazebo with gas grills, a swimming pool, and scheduled shuttle service to the UT Southwestern campus.
