REGENT UNIVERSITY

Private and founded on Christian principles, Regent University can be found in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Pat Robertson established this educational institution in 1977 under the name Christian Broadcasting Network University. In 1990, he renamed it to its current moniker, Regent University. Both traditional on-campus classes and online options are available to students at Regent University. Regent University is able to confer associate, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees in more than 70 different fields of study thanks to its eight academic schools. Specific programmes at the university are accredited by other professional or national accreditors in addition to the institution's overall regional accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACDS).
