OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY MARION

A branch campus of Ohio State University is in Marion, Ohio, known as OSU Marion or OSUM - founded in 1957. Its 187-acre (0.76 km2) site is shared with Marion Technical College and is 45 miles (72 km) north of Columbus. On campus, there are eight different structures. Marion campus uses open admission. A typical class has 19 students age group of 23.5 years old. A collection of over 48,000 books and more than 300 subscriptions can be found in the Marion Campus Library at the OSU Marion Campus. The library also includes pamphlet files along with print periodical indexes, microforms, maps, newspapers, pamphlet files, career and children's literature special collections, and the Warren G. Harding/Norman Thomas Research Collection. It gives users access to all Ohio State University's and Ohio Link's resources. The Ohio State University at Mansfield is quickly becoming the college of choice for students throughout Northeast Ohio.
