MID-ATLANTIC CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

Elizabeth City, North Carolina is home to the Mid-Atlantic Christian University (also known as MACU), a Christian-affiliated private university. The Christian churches and churches of Christ, which are a part of the Restoration Movement, are the ones providing support for it. Certificates, Associate's Degrees, and Bachelor's Degrees are all available to students at MACU. When it first opened its doors, MACU was known as Roanoke Bible College, and its primary mission was to provide preacher education for the Church of Christ and Christian Churches located in eastern North Carolina and Virginia.
