In Mount Pleasant, Michigan, there is a public research institution called Central Michigan University (CMU). More than 20,000 students attend Central Michigan University's Mount Pleasant campus, which was founded in 1892, and 7,000 more study online from more than 60 locations around the world. At the undergraduate, master's, specialist, and doctorate levels, CMU offers 200 academic programmes, including ones in entrepreneurship, journalism, music, audiology, teacher preparation, psychology, and physician assistantship.
