FINLANDIA UNIVERSITY

Private and affiliated with the Lutheran Church, Finlandia University may be found in Hancock, Michigan. In the entire Upper Peninsula, there is only this one private university. It was established in 1896 as The Suomi College and Theological Seminary, and it is currently connected with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the United States.
