SPRING ARBOR UNIVERSITY

Spring Arbor University, sometimes known as SAU, is a private university in Spring Arbor, Michigan that adheres to the Free Methodist faith. Having originated as both an academy and a junior college in the past, it did not start conferring bachelor's degrees until 1963. It was granted university status in 1994, and today it has the position of being Michigan's second-largest evangelical Christian university. The Higher Learning Commission has granted accreditation to the educational institution.
