UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & ARTS OF OKLAHOMA

Chickasha, Oklahoma is home to a public institution of higher education in the liberal arts known as the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma (USAO). It is the only public institution in Oklahoma that focuses entirely on liberal arts education and is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. Additionally, it is the only liberal arts college in the state. The United States Aerospace Academy (USAO) is a school that solely offers associate's and bachelor's degree programmes to its students. The institution initially served only female students when it first opened its doors in 1908, and from 1912 to 1965, it was known as the Oklahoma College for Women. In 1965, it opened its doors to both genders, and there are currently about 800 students enrolled there. The entire campus of Oklahoma College for Women was included on the register of national historic districts in the year 2001.

-In 2015, USAO was ranked 65th on Kiplinger's Best Values in Public Colleges list.[50] The American Council of Trustees and Alumni gave USAO an A rating as part of its What Will They Learn? initiative, which rates colleges on an A-F scale based on the comprehensiveness of their core curricula.[51][52] USAO was the only college or university in Oklahoma and one of only 23 nationwide to receive an A rating
