LANGSTON UNIVERSITY

In Langston, Oklahoma, there is a public historically black university called Langston University (LU). In the state, it is the sole historically black college. The University Centers in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, as well as a nursing programme that will soon begin in Ardmore, serve urban missions even though Langston is situated in a rural area 10 miles (16 km) east of Guthrie. The university belongs to the Thurgood Marshall College Fund as a member institution.
