CAMERON UNIVERSITY

Lawton, Oklahoma is home to Cameron University, a public institution of higher learning. It provides more than fifty different degrees across its undergraduate and graduate education levels. The degree programmes place an emphasis on science and technology, as well as graduate and professional studies, in addition to the liberal arts. It was one of six agricultural high schools established in the predominantly rural region when it opened its doors in 1908, not long after Oklahoma was accepted as a state.
