UNIVERSITY OF SAINT MARY

Privately funded and affiliated with the Catholic Church, the University of Saint Mary (USM) can be found in Leavenworth, Kansas, in the United States. It was originally founded in 1923 as Saint Mary College and is currently run by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth, the organization's namesake. The institution that was once exclusively reserved for female students is now open to all genders. Additionally, the order's mother house can be found on the premises. There was a time when the nuns' land in Kansas had its very own post office; it was called Xavier, Kansas, in honour of Saint Francis Xavier. There are a total of 26 bachelor's degree programmes and 6 master's degree programmes available at this university. There are daytime, evening, weekend, and online classes available for students to choose from.
