BAKER UNIVERSITY

Baker University is a non-public institution of higher education located in Baldwin City, Kansas. It was the first university in Kansas to offer degrees in all four years of higher education and was established in 1858. The university has ties to the United Methodist Church. There are four different schools that make up Baker University. On the campus in Baldwin City, Kansas, you'll find both the College of Arts and Sciences and the undergraduate programmes offered by the School of Education (SOE). Nontraditional students can get their education on campus in Overland Park, Kansas, or online through the School of Professional and Graduate Studies (SPGS) and the graduate branch of the School of Education (SOE). Both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) are programmes that can be completed entirely online at the School of Nursing in Topeka, which is run in collaboration with Stormont Vail Health (MSN). Student populations have increased to more than 3,000 across all four schools, with approximately 900 of those students attending classes at the Baldwin City location.

Baker does not combine the costs of lodging and meals. In 2020, the cost of on-campus housing for a typical student was $3,950, and the cost of a standard meal plan was $4,400. In addition, the cost of textbooks was an additional $600.
