1.CSUCI (California State Institution Channel Islands) is a public university located in Ventura County, California. It became the 23rd campus of the California State University system in 2002. CSUCI is located near Camarillo, halfway between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, at the confluence of the Oxnard Plain and the Santa Monica Mountains' northernmost edge. The institution maintains a scientific research station on Santa Rosa Island in the Channel Islands. 2.The university caters to Hispanic students. Channel Islands University provides 54 distinct bachelor's degrees, six different master's degrees, 19 teaching certificates, and an Ed.D. With a total of 7,095 undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in the fall of 2018, the institution enrolled the most students in its history. Since its inception, the university has given degrees to nearly 11,000 students. The institution has 425 faculty members in the autumn of 2020, with 153 (or 36%) on the tenure track.
