CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY MONTEREY BAY

CSUMB (also known as Cal State Monterey Bay) is a public institution in Monterey County, California. Its main campus is on the site of the former military station Fort Ord, spanning the cities of Seaside and Marina on the Central Coast of California, about a mile inland from Monterey Bay. CSUMB also has campuses in Monterey and Salinas, California. CSUMB is a member of the California State University system and is accredited by the WASC Senior College and University Commission. It was founded in 1994 and is part of the California State University system. The university caters to Hispanic students.
