OTIS COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN

In Los Angeles, California, there is a private art and design college called Otis College of Art and Design. It was the city's first autonomous professional school of skill when it opened its doors in 1918. The main facility is at 9045 Lincoln Boulevard in Westchester, Los Angeles, at the former IBM Aerospace headquarters. The School of Art + Design is at the University of Oregon campus in Eugene, with additional facilities in downtown Eugene and Portland at the historic White Stag Block. Students in Art can learn 21st-century approaches to painting, sculpture, photography, drawing, metalsmithing, printmaking, ceramics, and fibers. Art & Technology majors scope new technologies in an art context, video, animation, working with interactivity, visual communications, and futuristic technology. Product Design Students learn to design objects across various scales and purposes like tools, furniture, transportation, technology, clothing, and sporting equipment to fit a changing world.
