The Murray, Kentucky campus of Murray State University, also known simply as MSU, is a public institution of higher education. Murray State University operates extended campuses in Paducah, Hopkinsville, Madisonville, and Henderson in addition to its main campus in Calloway County, which is located in southwestern Kentucky. These extended campuses offer upper level and graduate level courses. Murray State University is comprised of eleven associate degree programmes, sixty-four bachelor degree programmes, forty-two master degree programmes and three doctoral degree programmes. These programmes are managed by the university's four academic colleges, two schools, thirty departments, and one joint programme that is shared by the college of business and the college of science, engineering and technology. The college of business at Murray State University is the largest, accounting for 23% of the total number of undergraduate students.
