Asbury University is a private institution of higher education that adheres to the Christian faith. The Wesleyan-Holiness tradition laid the groundwork for the college, despite the fact that it is not affiliated with any one religious group. The school has around 50 different majors spread out among 17 different departments. Asbury University reported a total enrolment of 1,854 students during the fall semester of 2016, consisting of 1,640 regular undergraduate students and 214 graduate students. The site of Asbury Theological Seminary, which broke away from Asbury University and established itself as an independent institution in 1940, can be found directly across the street from the main campus of Asbury University.
