KENTUCKY STATE UNIVERSITY

In Frankfort, Kentucky, Kentucky State University (often known as KSU or KYSU) is a historically black public land-grant university. KSU is the second-oldest state-supported institution of higher learning in Kentucky, having been founded in 1886 as the State Normal School for Colored Persons and becoming a land-grant college in 1890. There were 142 graduate students and 2,029 undergraduate students enrolled in total in the autumn of 2019.
