UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA

The Institution of South Florida (USF) is a public research university with campuses in Sarasota and St. Petersburg in addition to its main campus in Tampa, Florida. It is one of the State University System of Florida's 12 members. More than 200 undergraduate majors, as well as graduate, specialty, and doctoral degree programs, are available across USF's 14 colleges. The Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has accredited USF and placed it in the category of "R1: Doctoral Universities - Very High Research Activity." The Florida Board of Governors has named USF as one of the three Preeminent State Research Universities.
