Moon Township, Pennsylvania is home to the Robert Morris University (RMU), a private institution of higher education. It was established in 1921, and Robert Morris, who is famously known as the "financier of the [American] revolution," is honoured with its naming. It has almost 5,000 students enrolled and provides students with access to 60 bachelor's degree programmes, in addition to 35 master's degree and doctoral degree programmes.
