The Institution of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM) is a public university that is located in Monticello, Arkansas. It also has Colleges of Technology in the nearby towns of Crossett and McGehee. Master's degrees, bachelor's degrees, and associate's degrees are all available to students at UAM, which is a member of the University of Arkansas System. Additionally, UAM is home to the sole School of Forest Resources in the state of Arkansas. The University of Arkansas Board of Trustees is responsible for the governance of the university as well as the operation of other universities and post-secondary educational institutions in the state of Arkansas, including those located in Batesville, DeQueen, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Helena, Hope, Little Rock, Morrilton, and Pine Bluff.
