Located in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, John Brown University (JBU) is a non-profit, interdenominational Christian institution of higher education. JBU was established in 1919, and today it enrols 2,343 students in its regular undergraduate, graduate, online, and concurrent education programmes. These students come from 33 states and 45 countries. Since its establishment in 1919, the University of Arkansas has called its main campus, which encompasses an area of approximately 0.81 square kilometres and comprises 200 acres, its home. As of the 2021–2022 academic year, JBU is home to a total of 2,343 students, of which 1,228 are enrolled as on-campus undergraduates. 818 of these students make their home on campus. In addition, the institution maintains two locations apart from its main campus: one of them is a classroom facility in Rogers, Arkansas, and the other is a Counseling Education Center in Little Rock, which includes classrooms, offices, and a Community Counseling Clinic. There are now 483 students enrolled in John Brown University's Graduate School, which confers 16 different graduate degrees in fields such as business, education, counselling, and cybersecurity. The Higher Learning Commission has granted JBU its accreditation, and the university is a member of the Sooner Athletic Conference for its athletics. Accreditation bodies such as the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET), the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE), the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education have awarded the university's individual programmes with specialised accreditation (CCNE).
