HENDERSON STATE UNIVERSITY

Arkadelphia, Arkansas is home to Henderson State University (HSU), a public institution of higher learning. It was established in 1890 as Arkadelphia Methodist College, and it is currently the only public liberal arts college in the state of Arkansas to be a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. About three thousand students are enrolled in the undergraduate programme at Henderson. The total land area of the campus is 156 acres (0.63 km2).
