Its BSc and MSc programmes had over 14,000 students enrolled in 2020–21, and its PhD and PDEng programmes had about 1350 students enrolled. The TU/e has over 3900 employees in 2021. The undergraduate programmes are currently divided into a two-year master's programme and a three-year bachelor degree. At the university, the departments and service groups handle the majority of the work. The majority of the university's research and instruction is handled by the departments, each of which is led by a dean and administered by its academics. The executive deliberation meeting, which is a regular gathering of the deans and the rector, includes all of the deans as members.
