EURECOM

Both a graduate school (known in France as a Grande École) and a research centre specialising in digital sciences are housed under EURECOM. It is a founding member of the SophiaTech Campus in Sophia Antipolis, which is the largest Science and Technology Information campus in the Alpes-Maritimes, and it is also a part of the Institut Mines-Télécom. It was established in 1991 as a Groupement d'intérêt économique and its members included academics and businesspeople from France and other countries. The EURECOM consortium has the Institut Mines-Télécom as one of its founding members.
