MIAMI INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ART & DESIGN

The now-named Miami International University of Art & Design was formerly known as the International Fine Arts College. It is located in Miami, Florida, and is a private, for-profit art school. The charitable Education Principle Foundation is the entity that owns and manages the organisation (aka Colbeck Foundation). The institution offers courses in a variety of creative fields, including design, media and visual arts, fashion, and culinary arts. The Art Institutes, a collection of schools that were formerly owned by Education Management Corporation (EDMC) and Dream Center Education Holdings, are among its affiliated educational institutions (DCEH). The university first opened its doors in 1965 and now offers an education with a focus on careers in the applied arts and design. The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has granted this institution their accreditation. In addition to its main campus in Miami, the Miami International University of Art & Design also has locations in Tampa and Dallas.
