MAYO SCHOOL OF HEALTH SCIENCES

The Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS), which was originally known as the Mayo School of Health Sciences (MSHS), is a higher education institution that is recognised, private, and not-for-profit. It focuses on the education of allied health professionals. The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science, which is the Mayo Clinic's educational arm, is where the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences (MCSHS) is housed. MCSHS is therefore completely integrated with the hospitals and clinics that are part of the Mayo Clinic. Every year, the MCSHS receives enrollment applications from more than 1800 pupils. This comprises more than 55 different types of healthcare vocations and participation in more than 120 distinct academic programmes and clinical experiences. The MCSHS has working relationships with a wide variety of public and private universities. Students fulfil the requirements for the liberal arts and fundamental sciences at an affiliated institution, either concurrently or before enrolling in MCSHS as part of this joint programme. As a result, the only type of education that can be obtained at MCSHS is the specific training necessary to finish a certain degree or programme.
