MAYO GRADUATE SCHOOL

One of the institutions of higher learning that are housed within the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science is the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences (MCGSBS), which was originally known as Mayo Graduate School (MGS). Students looking to earn a Ph.D., M.D.-Ph.D., or master's degree can choose from the available graduate training programmes in the biomedical sciences at this institution. In addition, the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences provides possibilities for post-baccalaureate research as well as summer research scholarships for undergraduate students. The Mayo Graduate School has campuses in Rochester, Minnesota; Jacksonville, Florida; and Scottsdale, Arizona. These schools are affiliated with the Mayo Clinic. The vast majority of students seek their degrees at the Rochester campus; however, faculty from other locations participate in research in fields such as cancer biology and neuroscience. Both the Guggenheim building, which houses the school administration, and the Mitchell building, which houses the student centre, may be found on the Rochester campus.
