HAME UNIVERSITY OF APPLIED SCIENCES

HAMK is another name for Häme University of Applied Sciences. As of late, HAMK has degree programmes available through its schools of bioeconomy, wellbeing and entrepreneurship, business and technology, and professional teacher education. Around 8000 students and 700 staff members are employed by HAMK. The Entrepreneurial University concept was introduced by HAMK and trademarked in 2021. The government-approved universities and universities of applied sciences make up Finland's higher education system.

In addition to student apartments, there are private accommodation providers. Private rental apartments are usually more expensive than student apartments and they do not usually include electricity, lamps or internet. This means you have to sign separate contracts with different service providers.
