GEORGE FOX UNIVERSITY

Private George Fox University (GFU) can be found in Newberg, Oregon. It is affiliated with the Christian faith. It was established in 1891 as a school for Friends, and today it has more than 4,000 students attending classes at its main campus in Newberg as well as its centres in Portland, Salem, and Redmond. The primary campus spans 108 acres (44 ha) and is located close to the centre of Newberg, close to the intersection of Oregon Route 99W and Oregon Route 219. As a member of the Northwest Conference and the NCAA Division III, the Bruins represent George Fox University in athletic competition. The colours of the school are a dark navy blue and an antique gold.
