UNIVERSITY OF PORTLAND

Portland, Oregon is home to a prestigious Catholic private institution known as the University of Portland (UP). It was established in 1901 and is connected to the Congregation of Holy Cross, which also established the University of Notre Dame, which is the University of Pennsylvania's sister institution. Approximately 4,200 students are now enrolled at the university. On a hill that looks out over the Willamette River, the college may be found in the University Park area, which is located close to St. Johns.
