ARMSTRONG STATE UNIVERSITY

One of Georgia Southern University's three campuses is the Armstrong Campus, formerly known as Armstrong State University. Georgia Southern University is a public university. The institution, which is located on a 268-acre (1.08 km2) plot in the residential south of Savannah, Georgia, became one of Georgia Southern University's three campuses in 2018. 50 miles (80 km) west of Savannah, near Statesboro, is where the university's main campus is located. The distance between Tybee Island and the Armstrong campus is 25 miles (40 km) and 15 miles (24 km) respectively. Armstrong has a total student enrollment of about 5,000 and confers both undergraduate and graduate degrees.
