An institute of technology may be found in the city of Dundalk, Ireland, and its name is the Dundalk Institute of Technology. First opening its doors to students in 1971, while it was still known as the Dundalk Regional Technical College, the institution was renamed an institute of technology in January of 1998. The college had been in operation since 1971. As of the year 2019, the educational establishment is home to 4,509 pupils and 497 members of staff working full time.
