ORAL ROBERTS UNIVERSITY

Private evangelical institution Oral Roberts University (ORU) is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The university was established in 1963 and is named after the preacher Oral Roberts. ORU provides approximately 70 undergraduate degree programs and 20 graduate programs across six colleges on its 385-acre (1.56 km2) campus. Among "Baccalaureate Colleges: Diverse Fields," ORU is listed. The most common majors are business administration, nursing, engineering, psychology, and ministry and leadership. The university has about 4,000 students enrolled. As a member of one of the university's 60 clubs, students can participate in mission trips. More than 500 students traveled to five different continents in 2018. Weekly chapel sessions are a requirement for students.
