Private research university Nova Southeastern University (NSU or, more colloquially, Nova) has its main campus in Davie, Florida. The institution has 18 colleges, centers, and schools, with more than 150 academic options. Professional degrees are available from the university in the social sciences, law, business, osteopathic medicine, allopathic medicine, allied health, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, education, occupational therapy, and nursing. With more than 170,000 alums, Nova Southeastern University's 20,576 students enrolled as of 2019. NSU operates other campuses in Dania Beach, Fort Lauderdale, North Miami Beach, Tampa, and elsewhere across the state of Florida, in addition to its flagship campus of 314 acres in Davie, Florida.
