FRESNO PACIFIC UNIVERSITY

Fresno Pacific University, also known simply as FPU, is a Christian institution of higher education located in Fresno, California. In 1944, the Pacific District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches established it and gave it the name Pacific Bible Institute at the time. The year 1965 marked the year that the institution granted its first Bachelor of Arts degree. In 1975, the first programme leading to a master's degree was made available.
