University of the Sciences was founded in 1821 as Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. It has been around for more than 200 years. In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, it is one of the oldest private institutions. It was the first pharmacy school to open in North America. There are a total of 2,231 students at the university, with 1,231 being undergraduates and 1,000 being graduates.
