The California University of Pennsylvania (also referred to simply as Cal U) is a public institution of higher education located in California, Pennsylvania. It first opened its doors in 1852 and is currently a part of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE). The university grants degrees at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. The Middle States Commission on Higher Education has granted the institution's accreditation. On a total land area of 92 acres, the primary campus features approximately 38 distinct buildings (37 ha).  The soccer facility for the school is located on a separate facility that covers 9 acres (3.6 ha) and is situated close to the main campus. One mile (1.6 kilometres) away from the main campus is where you'll find George H. Roadman University Park, which encompasses a total area of 98 acres (40 ha) and features a football stadium in addition to a variety of other sports facilities and picnic facilities. The student association of the university also owns the Vulcan Village Student Apartments, which are situated on 25 acres, and the SAI Farm, which spans 98 acres and is situated close to Roadman Park. The California University of the Arts (Cal U) operates a sizable online school.
