CARLOW UNIVERSITY

In the city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the Carlow University, a private Catholic university. The Sisters of Mercy established the organisation back in 1929. The name "Celtics" is given to each of Carlow University's thirteen sporting teams as a nod to the institution's Irish background and origins. In the 2017–2018 school year, there were only 16 percent of male students and 84 percent female students.
