ROBERT MORRIS UNIVERSITY

Moon Township, Pennsylvania is home to the Robert Morris University (RMU), a private institution of higher education. It was established in 1921, and Robert Morris, who is famously known as the "financier of the [American] revolution," is honoured with its naming. It has almost 5,000 students enrolled and provides students with access to 60 bachelor's degree programmes, in addition to 35 master's degree and doctoral degree programmes. The majority of students hail from the Greater Pittsburgh area, with only 16% of first-year students in 2018 coming from outside the state of Pennsylvania.
